On Saturday, four-star defensive tackle Matthew Jones (6-foot-4, 315 pounds, Brooklyn, NY) announced that he had committed to Ohio State.

Jones also had offers from Alabama, Clemson, and Georgia, among others.
With the move, Ohio State now owns the No. 1 recruiting class in the country per 247Sports. The Buckeyes now have 14 commitments for the 2018 class, including three five-star recruits and six total recruits in the 247 Top 50.
Miami, the previous No. 1 class, has been knocked down to No. 2.
