Throughout November, NFL teams have "Salute to Service" games and events, dedicated to honoring and appreciating the United States military.
So when the Los Angeles Chargers sent out their own "Salute to Service" tweet, honoring the military members who chose to rep the then-San Diego Chargers, there were to frustrating errors from the organization for those pictured:

While the Chargers were likely just trying to wipe memory of their move from San Diego, the simple crop took out one military member lying on the ground and removed part of the American flag.
The man who took the 2014 photo spoke to the San Diego Union Tribune:
"For them to do that to my picture, and not even ask, to crop out one of our guys ... it was like, 'Wow, of course they're going to do that,' "retired Army Sgt. First Class Johnny Case said. "They have this spite for San Diego. But it's not about San Diego. It's a soldier. It's Veterans Day. You cropped out a veteran."
The man who was cropped responded as well:
"I felt it was disrespectful of them to crop me out, but I'm more upset about them cropping out the bottom of the flags," Minh Tran said Friday in a text. "Everyone in that picture supported the San Diego Chargers. I grew up watching the team and I supported them whether they won or lost."
When asked about the photo, a Chargers rep reportedly noted it should not have been cropped.
Despite the uproar, the photo remains posted on Twitter.
