Texas A&M and head coach Kevin Sumlin got some much-needed good news on Sunday with the announcement that tight end Kalvin Cline would be transferring from Virginia Tech to Texas A&M. Cline made the announcement on Instagram of his transfer.

"Couldn't be more thankful for my time at Virginia Tech. It's been an amazing 3 years and Hokie Nation has a special place in my heart," Cline said on Instagram. "It was truly an honor to play for a legend like Frank Beamer and I wish nothing but the best for my teammates this up coming season. But after I graduate in May I will be finishing my last 2 years of eligibility at Texas A&M. Can't wait to do big things at College station and see the 12th man light up the stadium! Gig'em Aggies!!"

As a true freshman in 2013, Cline caught 26 passes for 321 yards and a pair of touchdowns as a true freshman. He was injured the past two seasons, so his playing time was limited. For two seasons, current Aggies receivers coach Aaron Moorehead, who held the same position at VT where he coached Cline, which will make the transition much easier.
