Is anyone else completely unprepared for Mother’s Day? That’s what I thought. Just to remind all of you, it happens to be this Sunday so you better get on it. I know that I have to make a run to the card store, flower store, pretend to buy something that’s from my two sons to their mommy, and make sure that I’m the absolutely perfect father this Sunday. While I’m doing this I will also try and pay attention to any media attention that goes towards the holiday.
Speaking of which Jimmy Kimmel Live did one of their funny “reading texts” bits that honored Mother’s Day. Kimmel had his staffers read actual texts from their mothers. As you’ll see most of his staffers are old enough to have mothers that are old enough to not really know the ways of the text or smartphones for that matter.
