Here's what reportedly caused the Browns to send Johnny Manziel home

Johnny Manziel's up-and-down season has mostly been downs after repeated attempts to gain the Cleveland Browns' trust has resulted in numerous letdowns. The most recent was Manziel reportedly bolting to Vegas the night before his team's season-finale, resulting in the team's inability to reach him on Sunday morning.

The latest comes from ESPN radio's Tony Grossi, who noted he had heard Manziel was "disheveled" and "inebriated," causing the Browns to send him home on Tuesday (emphasis on the Tuesday). Former head coach Mike Pettine claimed that did not happen on Tuesday, and Grossi said he later heard from other people it was actually Wednesday.

It would really be great if we could dismiss such reports, but thanks to Manziel's background, we'd need an actual denial to ignore it.
