Four-star wide receiver Josh Vann reportedly told The Big Spur's Tony Morell (subscription required) that he intends to make his college announcement on Saturday following his high school team's season opener.
According to Morrell, Vann's parents' school preference is "mostly South Carolina" and he is expected to make multiple visits to the school this season.
The Gamecocks have long been assumed the wide receiver's favorite landing spot for most of the summer, according to Morrell.
Vann currently ranks as the No. 34 wide receiver, No. 20 player from the state of Georgia and the No. 169 overall prospect for the 2018 national recruiting cycle according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
He has 14 total scholarship offers including Auburn, Alabama, Michigan and Tennessee among others.
