ESPN's Adam Schefter followed up by revealing that Hawkins' deal with the team is a one-year deal, although monetary details weren't made public as of yet.

The former Cleveland Brown has had a busy offseason, as Schefter pointed out in another tweet that the speedster finished his MBA at Columbia University, too.

In one week, Andrew Hawkins received master’s degree in sports mgmt from Columbia’s School of Professional Studies and a contract from Pats.

Hawkins could be a sneaky, good addition to the Patriots as an under-the-radar replacement for the departed Michael Floyd as another deep threat and red zone option.

The 31-year-old previous played for the Browns and Cincinnati Bengals.
