One traditional basketball school is quietly putting together yet another solid recruiting class in football.
On Monday, four-star defensive back Yusuf Corker (6-foot-0, 183 pounds, Stockbridge, Ga.) spurned favorite Tennessee by announcing his commitment to Kentucky.
Blessed to say I'm committed to the University of Kentucky #BBN 🔵⚪!!!@CoachMHouse @coachclink @UKCoachStoops !!! Thanks everyone for coming pic.twitter.com/BF7u8ZoTUh

Corker is rated a four-star recruit by Scout and ESPN and he is the 22nd commitment for Kentucky's 2017 recruiting class. He also had offers from Michigan State, South Carolina, and Alabama, among others.
With the commitment, Kentucky is now up to 23nd in the recruiting rankings over at 247Sports. While that is only good for 11th in the SEC, it does represent yet another Top 40 class for the Wildcats, which is an accomplish for a school known more for its hoops than for gridiron play.
