Four-star wide receiver Tre Nixon (6-foot-1, 170 pounds, Melbourne, FL) is the owner of a verified 4.38 40-yard dash time, making him one of the fastest recruits in the 2016 cycle. On Monday, he made Ole Miss extremely happy when he announced his commitment to the Rebels.

The commit is a huge win for Ole Miss, as they pick up a speedy receiver that can work with quarterback Chad Kelly next season if needed. Of course, no freshman can replace what Laquon Treadwell did for Ole Miss in 2015, but Nixon has the skills where he can alleviate the pressure of Treadwell's departure.

Nixon was also considering Auburn and Georgia.
