One of the rising recruits of the 2017 class now has a home. According to 247Sports, four-star wide receiver Jordan Murphy (6-foot-1, 175 pounds, Hattiesburg, MS) announced his commitment to Tennessee during a school visit on Thursday.
The decision was later confirmed on Murphy's personal Twitter page.

Murphy is rated as only a three-star by 247Sports, but as a four-star by Rivals. The recruit's stock has been on the rise recently, netting him offers from Alabama, LSU, and Tennessee all in the past few months. In the end, it looks like a trip to Knoxville sealed the deal for the Vols in convincing Murphy to commit.

Murphy is rated as one of the Top 10 recruits out of the state of Mississippi, so this is a decent out-of-state haul for Tennessee. He is Tennessee's 22nd commitment of the 2017 class, and is their sixth-highest rated commit according to 247Sports. The entire class currently ranks No. 10 in the nation.
