Four-star wide receiver Devonta Smith (6-foot-1, 155 pounds, Amite, LA) has decommitted from Georgia, according to his Twitter account.
I'm officially decommitting from the University of Georgia

This is a bit of a blow for Georgia, but it is softened a bit by Smith being a Class of 2017 recruit. Still, it's not easy losing a recruit that is rated in the Top 100 of his class.
What's next for Smith? 247Sports currently lists Alabama as the favorite for the small, but speedy receiver. The same recruiting service also gives home-state LSU a decent chance at landing Smith.
