Top 10 safety Todd Harris may have eliminated a team from his recruitment

Four-star safety Todd Harris (6-foot-0, 180 pounds, Plaquemine, La.) was originally down to just two schools back over the summer: LSU and Ole Miss. However, it looks like two more schools have found themselves in the mix — and one potentially out of it.

In an interview with Rivals.com, Harris identified Alabama and LSU as two schools he plans to take official visits to in the coming weeks. However, it looks like a previously planned visit to Ole Miss at the end of January is no more, as Harris said that he will likely visit TCU instead.

Via Rivals:

I just found out something new about Ole Miss so I'm not sure if I'm going to take an official there anymore, due to some coach news and one of the coaches leaving. Coach Batoon left to go with Lane Kiffin to FAU. So I'm probably going to have to cancel that.

While Ole Miss has been there for a long time with Harris, it looks like they might be out of it for now with him taking his official visit elsewhere.

Harris is ranked as the No. 10 safety according to the 247Sports player rankings.
