Derrek Pitts (6-foot-1, 174 pounds, Charleston, WV) is the No. 2 overall recruit out of the state of West Virginia. It was thought that the Mountaineers had the heavy-advantage over everyone else to keep him in-state, but that turned out not to be true; instead, Pitts announced his commitment to Penn State on Wednesday.
