
DeAndre Square is a four-star safety in the class of 2018, but he may make the switch to linebacker at the next level with his 6'1", 200-pound frame. Either way, he has double-digit scholarship offers and is being heavily recruited by some of the powerhouses like Ohio State, Wisconsin and LSU. He just took his fourth visit to Buckeye country and came away impressed with the coaches.
He was impressed enough to name them among his top five schools when 247Sports asked him which schools stood out. He listed Wisconsin, LSU, Ohio State, Michigan State and Kentucky. He is currently ranked as the No. 26 safety in the class and No. 6 recruit in the state of Michigan by 247Sports.
He also holds offers from Arizona, Cincinnati, Iowa, Iowa State and Syracuse among others. The 247Sports crystal ball currently has him landing with Michigan State with all predictions pointing that way. However, if he keeps heading back to Columbus then the Spartans might have some worrying to do.
