Nesta Silvera made his commitment to Miami back in February, but the Fort Lauderdale native and 308-pound defensive tackle is not quite closed on his commitment. He told 247Sports that he still wants to take visits to both Ohio State and Florida, but will also head to Coral Gables at least one more time.

Once the recruiting dead period ends July 9, Silvera said that is when he would get out to those schools with the Florida visit coming next week for sure. He's unsure about the Buckeyes, but knows he wants to get out there. He also said he should be going to Miami for coach Mark Richt's Paradise Camp though.
Silvera also admitted that he's been in constant contact with Florida and defensive line coach Chris Rumph as well as some of the Ohio State staff.
Silvera is ranked as the No. 23 defensive tackle in the country and No. 47 recruit in the state of Florida according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He also holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Penn State, Florida State, Georgia and South Carolina as well as others.
