Defensive tackle Eric Crosby (6-foot-1, 285 pounds, Virginia Beach, VA) is rated as one of the top recruits of the 2017 class, and he will soon be picking between these five schools: N.C. State, Alabama, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and Clemson.

Crosby is rated by 247Sports as the No. 6 prospect at his position, and is a four-star recruit overall. Any of these teams would be glad to have him, but out of his Top 5, it is definitely easy to point out N.C. State as a team that could use him the most.
What might be most impressive about Crosby is his combination of size and speed; 247Sports has his 40-time listed at 4.79, which is certainly impressive for a 285-pounder. This kind of versatility could lead to him being used as a defensive end at the next level should the team he commits to see that as appropriate.
