However, Hawkins shed some additional light on his upcoming decision this week, speaking to Bill Greene of Scout about the six programs that he will be choosing between in a few weeks.

"I'm going to shut everything down on May 10, and make my decision. I do not have an official list of schools because I have a few visits left to take. With that being said, Notre Dame, Alabama, Clemson, Penn State, Ohio State and Cincinnati are my favorites among schools I have visited."

While Cincinnati might seem out of place on a list of blue blood programs, that is explained by the fact that Hawkins plays at Archbishop Moeller within the city limits and down the street from where the Bearcats play. Still, this is an impressive list for the four-star defensive tackle and anytime a prospect even holds offers from Clemson, Ohio State and Alabama, it speaks to his talent level.

At the moment, Hawkins ranks as the No. 19 defensive tackle in the country according to 247Sports and the 6'3, 265-pound defensive lineman lands within their 250 prospects nationally. The public (and these six programs) will have to wait until mid-May for a decision but all eyes will be on Aeneas Hawkins when the date arrives.
