A highly-touted cornerback out of the state of Florida has made his commitment. On Monday, four-star cornerback Trajan Bandy (5-foot-9, 180 pounds, Miami, Fla.) announced that he would be verbally committing to Miami, despite holding several big offers such as Alabama, Auburn, LSU and Clemson and several others. Bandy was committed to Oklahoma until he announced his decommitment in July.
"I will no longer be interested in any other school," Bandy told 247Sports. "I will be attending the University of Miami."
247 reported that the cornerback and his father spent time on campus as recent as Sunday, and after meeting with the coaching staff he made up his mind. Bandy holds a whopping 36 offers from schools. With the commit, Miami's 2017 class is loaded — it has 21 verbal commits, and the class overall is ranked eighth in the country and first in the ACC.
