Florida is going to need a point guard down the road once Kasey Hill graduates this year and Chris Chiozza graduates the next year. That leaves the Gators with only current freshman Eric Hester and transfer Jalen Hudson at shooting guard. However, the future is looking a little brighter with the latest guard to commit to the Gators and coach Mike White.
Brewster senior guard Michael Okauru just verbally committed to Florida, per coach Jason Smith.

Mike Okauru us currently a three-star PG according to 247Sports and is the No. 5 recruit in the state of North Carolina. The 6'3" 175-pound should give the Gators some depth and hopefully can learn a few things from Chiozza before he has to take over the reigns of the offense.
