Javonte Smart is a top 25 player in the class of 2018 and a five-star point guard as rated by ESPN. They also have him ranked as the No. 5 point guard in the class and top recruit in the state of Louisiana. Being from Baton Rouge would also explain at least one of his schools in his top six that he just released on Twitter:

He's got a few traditional powerhouses in there like Kansas, UCLA and Kentucky, but also has one riser in Florida State and a couple underdogs in his hometown Tigers and the Cowboys of Oklahoma State. The 6'4", 190-pound guard also holds offers from Oklahoma, Ohio State, UConn and Vanderbilt among other schools. The 247Sports crystal ball gives him a 60 percent chance of landing with the Wildcats and a 40 percent chance to land with the Tigers.
