Just a week ago, it looked like Alabama had become the leader for five-star linebacker and No. 2 overall recruit Dylan Moses. Moses (6-foot-2, 220 pounds, Bradenton, FL) had a change of heart after a visit with Texas, though, and it now looks like the Longhorns have taken the lead.

Moses would be a huge get for Texas head coach Charlie Strong, who is still trying to right the ship in Austin after the disastrous end to the Mack Brown era. Strong had a strong end to the 2016 recruiting cycle, most notably picking up several blue-chip recruits on National Signing Day to surge up the recruiting rankings.
As for the other schools in Moses's Top 5, it's good news for UCLA and USC to still be included at this point, because the major press had been about LSU and Alabama for quite a while. Moses was once committed to LSU, but he decommitted from the Tigers last summer, citing the need to reconsider his recruiting options.
