"I'd also like to thank all of the schools that have recruited me in this process," Pearson said. "With that being said, I couldn't be happier to announce that I am 100% committed to play football at the University of Virginia!"
Pearson is rated as a five-star by the Kohl's Kicking service, which also has him as the No. 5 kicker overall for the 2018 class. With Pearson on board, Virginia now has 13 commitments for their 2018 class, but as of now, they still rank in the bottom five of the ACC per 247Sports.
