Five-star cornerback Darnay Holmes (5-foot-10, 190 pounds, Calabasas, CA) is ranked as the No. 11 overall recruit according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, and it looks like Holmes' recruiting could be coming to an conclusion very soon.
Holmes told Rivals.com that he won't commit until after the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, but that he has at least three schools he plans on making official visits to before then: Michigan, Ohio State, and UCLA. Holmes also mentioned that he may take visits to Michigan State and USC, but those previous three are likely locks.

Interestingly enough, the 247Sports Crystal Ball doesn't list Michigan or Ohio State among the Top 3 for Holmes. 247 currently has UCLA as the leader, but then follows with Arizona and Stanford, two teams that Holmes might not be visiting.
Holmes was already a popular recruit, but he became more sought after when he ran a 4.32 in the 40-yard dash at The Opening recruiting combine. That times was the fastest of all the recruits that went to the July version of The Opening.
