Dwyane Wade Joins These 2 Legends in the NBAs Rarest Stats Club

The Golden State Warriors are still the team to beat in the NBA, Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James is still the face of the league, and nobody is currently hotter than Houston Rockets guard James Harden. However, the club Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade just joined is one of the rarest feats in hoops history.

During Miami's loss to the Atlanta Hawks, the 6-foot-4 superstar guard drained a 3-pointer inside the State Farm Arena that meant nothing for the game, but everything for his Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame resume. That long-range shot helped him join LeBron James and Michael Jordan as the only three players to have at least 20,000 points, 5,000 assists, 4,000 rebounds, 1,500 steals, 800 blocks, and 500 made 3-pointers in their career.

If Wade's "One Last Dance" wasn't already sweet enough, this moment made it that much better.

It's no secret the 36-year-old Wade, who finished the game with 11 points, is widely respected around the league. So when the opportunity was there, the Atlanta Hawks had a special tribute ready to go, which featured veteran NBA All-Star forward Vince Carter.

Additionally, Wade swapped jerseys with rookie Trae Young and signed autographs for fans as he left the court in Atlanta.

A 12-time NBA All-Star with three NBA titles and a gold medal from the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, D-Wade deserves a standing ovation for this. He was already considered a top-5 shooting guard in NBA history, but being in the same club as players such as LeBron James and Michael Jordan is beyond special.

Wade, the former No. 5 overall pick from Marquette in the famous 2003 NBA Draft that featured James, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, and more, averages 22.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 5.5 assists in his 15-plus seasons with the Heat, Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers.

There's no doubt Wade will retire this season as one of the best players to ever lace them up. This feat is resounding proof how amazing he has been.
