The Denver Broncos and New York Jets helped themselves out a whole lot with a trade of picks (from the Jets) and players (from the Broncos) that addressed serious needs on both sides.
The Jets needed to replace D'Brickashaw Ferguson who retired after 10 season of playing left tackle. He missed only one offensive snap out of a possible 10,000-plus in his career. The Broncos needed a couple of assets to trade for current San Francisco 49'ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Jets and Broncos were able to help each other in those regards.
Denver has agreed to trade four-time Pro-Bowl OT Ryan Clady and a 7th-round pick to the Jets for a 5th-round pick, league sources told ESPN.

This will allow the Jets to keep their pick and not have to move up to the top pick to grab someone like Laremy Tunsil and now Denver should have enough assets to entice the 49'ers to give up Kaepernick. It's a win-win all around and probably one of the fairer trades we'll see this offseason.
