
DeAngelo Gibbs is the No. 10 overall recruit and No. 2 safety in ESPN's 2017 class rankings. So when he makes his commitment he definitely turns some heads. That was the case as he did make his commitment while at the Under Armour All-American Game:

The standout four-star recruit had offers from Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Tennessee, Auburn, Clemson, Michigan, Ohio State, Texas, Penn State and Notre Dame, among others.
Gibbs was projected a 91 percent chance of landing at Georgia, per 247sports' Crystal Ball.
The 6'2", 205-pound safety has the new prototypical size of NFL cornerbacks and secondary players so that certainly bodes well at the college level for him.
