Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback Dak Prescott had a big night at the ESPYs, a night in which he walked away with some hardware as the former Mississippi State Bulldog won the "Best Breakthrough Athlete" award.
That's not the only reason Prescott made headlines from the event, as he told reporters before the event that nobody should expect the Cowboys to not build off their 2016 NFC East crown.

"We're the Cowboys. We're gonna win the NFC East," Prescott said.
Prescott is a confident dude, and with the kind of rookie season he had, he has a lot of reason to be confident about his team heading into this fall.
However, the Cowboys haven't had the best offseason, that's perhaps highlighted by Ezekiel Elliott's off-the-field issues that still hasn't been resolved by the NFL. The defense got a lot younger this offseason, multiple suspensions, and some departures on the offensive line add more uncertainty to Prescott's team.
Still, it's good that Prescott is confident as he heads into Year 2 being The Man in Dallas for Jerry Jones' team.
