We now know when the first set of College Football Playoff rankings will come out

The College Football Playoff Selection Committee will reportedly release its first CFP rankings on Tuesday, Oct. 31, and its final rankings on Sunday, Dec. 3, USA Today's George Schroeder announced on Twitter.

Schroeder included a full schedule of when each weekly ranking will be revealed during primetime live specials on ESPN.

Alabama enters the season as the No. 1 ranked team in the Amway Coaches poll — which was released last week — followed by Ohio State, Florida State and USC, respectively.

The Associated Press poll has yet to be released.
