Kentucky coach John Calipari was pretty livid about not getting three-seed in the NCAA Tournament despite his team having a solid resume and winning the SEC regular season and conference tournament title. He went on ESPN's "Bracketology" to explain why he was so upset with the committee giving his team a four seed, especially since they gave Texas A&M a three seed after losing to Kentucky in the SEC title game.
The Wildcats had the 15th ranked non-conference strength of schedule and went 14-6 against the RPI top 100. They were 4-1 on neutral courts and had the 35th ranked strength of schedule overall. However, it does set up for a potential Indiana-Kentucky matchup that we wouldn't see in the regular season.
