The Cleveland Browns have an absolute mess at the quarterback position and most people believed that Brock Osweiler would be the starter this year until rookie DeShone Kizer was ready or until an injury occurred. It looks like that won't be the case as he will get the start right out of the gate in the season opener according to Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com.

The report has a quote from head coach Hue Jackson that says he's "comfortable with him (Kizer)." Jackson also said, "He has the right feel for me and for what I'm looking for.''
Jackson is expected to let the team know on Sunday and then make the announcement public after that. Kizer has struggled at times in the preseason, but he is a rookie and has shown flashes of what he could become. That's more important for the Browns than trying to win now with a QB they may not end up keeping long-term in Osweiler.
