Verne Lundquist is probably the guy you thought made the comment from that headline because of his advanced age. You would be wrong because it was actually the much younger Gary Danielson who thinks that the 50-50 crowd at Everbank Field in Jacksonville is split in favor of one team.

Despite the fact that the tickets are split right down the middle between the two schools, Danielson is convinced that one team holds a distinct advantage when it comes to the crowd.
"Even though it's a neutral site, this is about a 70-30 Georgia fan base. I've done 10 of them, okay, and the crowd base that gets frustrated the most is the Georgia fans, if things aren't going well. The Florida fans, there's not as many of them."
With a win, Florida would hold on to the top spot in the SEC East while most Georgia fans have deemed this a lost season with bad losses to Tennessee and Vanderbilt. So clearly, one team has a little more to play for in this game, but rivalry games should never be taken lightly by either side.
