Texas A&M is having their way with SMU so far as the Aggies lead the Mustangs 48-3 in the third quarter. Even with all that offense, the best play of the game might have been made by this cadet to protect Texas A&M's mascot Reveille VIII from a receiver running out of bounds.
The receiver gets a shove as he's going out of bounds and heads straight for Lady Rev as he tries to regain his balance. The cadet puts a great hip check on the receiver to keep here safe.
It's dangerous down there on the sidelines, but she's just has to make it through this season unscathed. Earlier this week it was announced that Reveille VIII will retire at the end of the year.
