WATCH: Bryce Harper's Jacked Dad Almost Drills Superstar Son

It hasn't exactly been the greatest hitting display by Bryce Harper this season, but the Washington Nationals superstar sure made up for it Monday night at the 2018 Home Run Derby.

In front of the home crowd at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., the 25-year-old MLB All-Star put on an absolute clinic to defeat Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber, 19-18, in the final round of what was a really entertaining event.

Not to mention, Harper, who is hitting just .214 with 23 home runs and 54 RBIs in 2018, won the derby by crushing a walk-off home run, and capped the show with an insane two-handed bat flip to close it out.

One of the greatest things for Harper is his father, Ron, was his pitcher; what a cool moment to share with your dad.

One of the greatest things for everyone else is that his unbelievably jacked and bearded dad provided the world some extra entertainment on social media.

Outside of his physical appearance, which is wild in and of itself, Ron almost drilled Bryce with a batting practice pitch.

The fact Harper's dad pointed to himself brushing back his superstar son is definitely hilarious, but it's also not the first time this happened. Ron actually hit Bryce during the 2013 Home Run Derby at Citi Field in New York City.

Did we mention Ron's physical appearance? Check out the difference between events:

All jokes aside, this was a great night for baseball. The fact Harper won was a great celebration, but so was the show he put on to win the Midsummer Classic contest.

Harper belted 45 home runs in total and the final 30 seconds of the final round was unreal.

It was a Home Run Derby for the ages, and everyone got entertainment one way or another.

The only thing missing was Harper charging the mound after his dad threw at him again.
