Braden Lenzy gave Notre Dame a recruiting present when the 4-star wide receiver from Portland, OR, committed to the Irish. But what one gives, one can take away, and that's what happened Wednesday when Lenzy announced he was flipping his commitment to stay closer to home.

Lenzy raved about Notre Dame in his tweet and thanked the university, but noted the allure of playing in his home state.
Lenzy, as per 247 Sports, is the No. 7-ranked wide receiver prospect in the nation and the No. 3-ranked prospect in Oregon. The 6-foot, 175 pounder runs a 4.47 40-yard dash, and Bleacher Report noted he may have interest in running track at Oregon. The Ducks, as per BR, finished ninth nationally in the recently concluded men's outdoor national championships and won the indoor title three straight years, from 2014 and 2016.
