Chad Morris is slowly turning the SMU program around, but his team recently suffered a setback after several players quit after failing drug tests.

According to Nikki Chavanelle of Rivals.com, the surprise drug test was given after the players returned from break.

Not sure if #SMU football drug testing athletes right after break was dumb or a brilliant tactic to thin the herd.

It's unclear at the time which players quit, but regardless, this isn't a good look for the Mustangs' program.
