Tate choked out Holly Holm to win the championship after Holm knocked out Ronda Rousey last November. Nunes came into the bout on a three-fight win streak by decision, submission and TKO, respectively.

Tate spent the last few months talking up a Rousey rematch for the belt, and at this point, it looks like that won't happen.

Now the question remains — who's next in the bantamweight division: Rousey, Holm or Tate?
