After spending 24 days in jail, former New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd has found a new home in the NFL.

Floyd agreed to a one-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings, according to Tom Pelissero of USA Today.

Floyd was released by the Arizona Cardinals after being arrested for "extreme DUI". Floyd was found asleep at the wheel at an intersection in Scottsdale, Arizona with a .217 blood alcohol level. He was sentenced to the 24-day jail term and 96 days of house arrest in February.

The Patriots claimed Floyd off waivers, but he didn't make much of an impact during the Pats' Super Bowl run. Floyd caught 37 passes for 488 yards and five touchdowns for the Cardinals and Patriots last season.

Floyd is a native of St. Paul, Minnesota, and he will have a chance to revitalize his career for his hometown Vikings.
