Kymani Dunham, a heavily recruited 6-foot-8, 240 pound power forward/center for the Brunswick (Ga) basketball team, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes, according to WJXT-TV. Another basketball player, Christopher Reed, 20, also a senior at the school, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated child molestation.
The Post and Courier said Dunham was taken to a local detention center, but didn't mention whether Reed had been jailed. Both media organizations said the allegations involve a 14-year-old girl, and noted that sexual contact with anyone under the age of 16 is illegal in Georgia.
Dunham, a second-team all-state player, had accepted an offer to play for the College of Charleston.
