Four-star recruit Ryan Hayes (6-foot-7, 252 pounds, Traverse City, Mi.) is one of the most intriguing prospects of the 2018 class, and it looks like he has made his decision.
On Saturday, Hayes announced that he was staying in-state and heading to play for Jim Harbaugh at Michigan.
"It just felt right from my first visit and I just loved everything about it there," Hayes said to 247Sports.
The interesting part about Hayes is that he could play either offensive tackle or tight end at the next level, depending on how the Michigan offense wants to use him. Considering the frequency with which Harbaugh uses his tight ends, it's a very feasible prospect that Hayes develops into a pass catcher.
As of now, Hayes is rated as the No. 10 offensive tackle in the nation by the 247Sports player rankings.
With Hayes on board, Michigan now has 10 commits for the 2018 class. They rank seventh in the nation at 247.
