Former Florida quarterback and current West Virginia star Will Grier is officially out for the rest of the game after suffering a nasty-looking injury. He tried to run the ball in for a touchdown himself and dove for the six points, but landed right on his middle finger on his throwing hand and resulted in a complete 90-degree bend of his finger.
Grier finished the day throwing for 50 yards on 6-of-8 passing with no touchdowns. The Mountaineers are currently losing 14-0 to Texas at halftime.
