Seahawks safety Earl Thomas' hit on Rob Gronkowski was brutal. Especially for Pats fans.
Gronk, who leads the team with 540 receiving yards, is set to miss his second straight game after reportedly suffering a damaged lung as a result of the blow. The silver lining? So far, he's been sidelined for matchups with two of the NFL's worst. Last week it was San Francisco, who New England trounced 30-17. This week it's the 3-7 New York Jets.

The Pats, however, will be hoping for Gronkowski's quick recovery as back-to-back matchups with two of the league's best defenses in the Baltimore Ravens and the Denver Broncos loom just around the corner.
