UNC had a bit of a first half scare from what was once known as "Dunk City" and the Tar Heels were only up one point at the half. Roy Williams must have said something in that locker room to get the team going though as it reeled off a 22-6 run that put them up by 17 and essentially closed out the game for an 83-67 win.

To no one's surprise, Brice Johnson had a monster game with 18 points, seven rebounds, three assists and eight blocks! Joel Berry had 14 points, Marcus Paige had 10, and Isaiah Hicks and Justin Jackson each had 12 points. The Tar Heels will face 9-seed Providence on Saturday in Raleigh.
