
Maryland will be without two of its freshman football players again this weekend after they were charged in a November 6 BB gun incident.

Freshmen Maryland football players Lorenzo Harrison and DJ Turner were each charged with three counts of second degree assault and three counts of reckless endangerment after they reportedly shot several students with a BB gun, via UMPD.

The University of Maryland released a statement following the arrests:
"We are aware of the situation and take these matters very seriously. The two student-athletes involved have been suspended indefinitely for violating the student-athlete code of conduct. This matter has also been referred to the Office of Student Conduct for further review."
Both players were suspended for last week's game over Ohio State, and they have been suspended indefinitely.
