This badass Doberman gets mauled by a Mountain Lion within an inch of its life, gets up like a boss

If watching animals, dogs especially, get hurt makes you uneasy, you should probably turn away now. This poor pup looks like he's doing what any good dog would do and protect his family from this intruding mountain lion. The mountain lion was definitely down for the challenge though and essentially owned this Doberman.

It's hard to make out what those liquid splotches are on the ground (we're hoping it's water tracked in by the lion) but it certainly makes you feel uneasy about this pups chances of survival.

Amazingly, the dog gets back up, astounding after such a vicious attack. According to several reports, the dog thankfully survived the attack, which happened in California, but required 60 stitches.
