How crazy is this? In the video above, that's new Texas Tech wide receiver Derrick Willies crushing a 60-inch box squat. Not only did he land the jump perfectly, he's wearing a weight vest that has ten extra pounds on it. You may not have heard Willies' name before — the 6-foot-3, 215 pound wideout is a junior college transfer from Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas, via San Bernardino, Calif.

Per the Fort-Worth Star-Telegram, Willies had 49 catches and averaged 115.5 receiving yards a game with 14 touchdowns, averaging 23.6 yards a catch during his JUCO season at Trinity Valley last year. I'm sure Texas Tech fans will be pretty excited to see Willies take the field after this video.
