Fan favorite Dale Earnhardt may have won the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona, but that is not what people will be talking about after this race.

Austin Dillon, driver of the No. 3 car, went airborne in a huge wreck as the race ended at 1 a.m. after several delays. Dillon's car flew into the track's catchfence, crushing his car and causing the engine block to be completely torn away from the rest of the car. The catchfence was also completely torn away in the spot where Dillon's car made impact.

Amazingly, Dillon managed to walk away from the wreck despite the damage to his car, as he waved to the crowd to signify that he was not hurt. No drivers were reported injured, although a few fans were hurt from where Dillon's car sprayed debris after colliding with the catchfence.

NASCAR's next race will be the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway on July 11.
