Artist Stephen Malkoff has been featured in Southern Living, Country Living and Guidepost magazines and will now be featured in the homes of South Carolina fans. Malkoff is putting South Carolina's live mascot, Sir Big Spur, onto cotton Strathmore paper for all fans to own. He was commissioned to draw the Gamecock and the proceeds from the sales of his prints will be used to fund scholarships for students who deserve them.
Malkoff is a huge college football fan and before he was even commissioned to draw the majestic bird, he told his wife that he wanted to "draw that Gamecock" because he is "one good-looking bird."
