Tre'Von Armstead, a former Baylor Bears tight end, has been booked into jail on a number of charges, including domestic battery, following an incident in Las Vegas.
TMZ.com first reported his arrest.
TMZ reported that officers saw Armstead push a woman in front of the Cromwell Hotel, and that the former All-Big 12 tight end resisted officers' attempt to apprehend him. The report also said once in a police car, Armstead kicked out a window.

Armstead and former Baylor player Shamycheal Chatman have been sued by a woman who claims the players gang raped after a party in 2013. Neither Armstead nor Chatman were charged. Armstead was dismissed from the team in 2015.
Baylor has been embroiled in a sexual assault scandal for much of the last year, with Wall Street Journal report claiming 17 women reported sexual or domestic assaults by 19 players since 2011 at Baylor. Those incidents included four alleged gang rapes, per the report.
Armstead's bail is set at $5,000, with a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
