J.T. Daniels (6-foot-2, 202 pounds, Santa Ana, Cal.) is rated as the No. 1 pro-style quarterback of the 2019 class, and it looks like his recruitment is rapidly heating up.
According to 247Sports, Daniels is set to take a visit to Michigan on July 29. The visit is coming after a previously scheduled trip to Ann Arbor fell through last month.
Michigan is one of the 18 teams that has offered Daniels so far, a list which also includes Alabama, LSU, and Miami. However, Stanford and USC are currently listed as the favorites for Daniels per the 247Sports Crystal Ball.
Though currently a four-star, Daniels will likely become a five-star once the recruiting cycle moves on to the 2019 class. Daniels evolved last season as a sophomore as one of the most prolific passers in the nation. He threw for almost 5,000 yards last season for top-ranked Mater Dei, with 67 touchdowns against only six interceptions.
Daniels has already taken visits to Alabama, Stanford, and Washington.
