Just days after naming his Top 6 teams, four-star defensive tackle Jacob Lacey has made his decision. On Saturday, Lacey (6-foot-2, 300 pounds, Bowling Green, KY) announced that he had committed to Notre Dame over schools like Michigan and Tennessee.

Lacey was also considering Clemson, Louisville, and Michigan State prior to making his commitment.

Lacey, a class of 2019 recruit, is rated as a four-star by the 247Sports player rankings. Those same rankings have him as the No. 8 defensive tackle in his class. He is the second commitment for Notre Dame's 2019 class, as the Fighting Irish already have a pledge from three-star pro style quarterback Cade McNamara.
